create password for accounts created with twitter

I made my Account with Twitter but it won't let me sign in using Twitter in the app and I want to get push notifications onto my phone.

The problem is: when I try to create a email and password on the same account it doesn't save and won't let me login that way since it won't let me verify my email address. Please fix this so I can login using an email and password with my account that I created for Twitter.
